Campus Summer Stays provides two main accomodation options at each of our sites. The first option is a single, lockable room with shared facilities (much like a youth hostel), the second option is an apartment with kitchen, living and dining area. 

Accommodation at most properties is available during the university summer holidays (usually mid November to mid February). For the rest of the year, apartments and rooms are rented to students at universities and other education institutions around NZ. 

Inclusions and configurations differ between properties across NZ. For further details, please take a look at our individual locations.

Accommodation is available between mid November to mid February. If you are interested in conferencing or an event on site, we can accommodate these activities all year round. 

Single rooms are booked in whole on a per night basis. These are private, lockable bedrooms with shared facilities. Apartments can be booked on a whole basis or an individual private room within an apartment can sometimes be booked.

Campus Summer Stays is owned and operated by global student accommodation specialist, Campus Living Villages (CLV). CLV is a private provider that works in partnership with higher education institutions to develop and operate high quality accommodation that enhances the residential experience.

Conferencing facilities are available at most of our sites. Please enquire via summerstays@clv.co.nz today for more details.

We have availability of double rooms with ensuite at some of our properties. Please enquire when you book. 

Internet is available in communal areas at all properties. 

Limited parking is available at most properties and should be booked before arrival. Please enquire with individual locations for rates and booking information.

Payment

You agree to pay for a Reservation by authorising us to charge your credit card account (‘Credit Card’) for the total amount of the charges for the Reservation. If there is a problem with any payment (for example, if a transaction using your Credit Card is declined), we may contact you to make alternative payment arrangements. Please note that credit card payments incur a 2.1% surcharge.

Single Bookings

Where a Reservation is a Single Booking, you must pay all amounts for that Reservation in full, on arrival.

Group Bookings

Where a reservation is a Group Booking, a 15% non-refundable deposit is required to confirm your reservation. The deposit is required within seven days of receiving the invoice to confirm your reservation. *if the check in date is within 30 days of the enquiry, full payment is required within 48 hours of invoice receipt to confirm the reservation. Full payment for the total of the accommodation must be received at least 30 days prior to the arrival date. Payments can be made by either Electronic Funds Transfer (EFT), into the Village bank account stated on the invoice or via VISA/MASTERCARD. Please note: all credit card payments incur a 2.1% surcharge and International EFTs incur additional fees. All payments are non-refundable. If full payment has not been received prior to the arrival date, guests will be unable to check into the Village.

Pricing

The charges payable by you for any Reservation made by you shall be the charges quoted on this website at the time the Reservation is submitted. \

Currency

The charges for all accommodation advertised on this website are stated and are payable in New Zealand dollars (NZD).

Taxes and other charges

All charges are inclusive of New Zealand Goods and Services Tax (‘GST’) at the rate applicable at the time of supply. Except for GST, charges do not include fees, duties, tariffs, taxes or other imposts or charges (if any) which may be payable in relation to your Reservation.You shall be liable to pay any fees, duties, taxes, and other imposts or charges other than GST which are payable in relation to your Reservation.

Incorrect price information

Where accommodation is listed on this website with an incorrect charge or with incorrect information, we reserve the right to cancel your Reservation (regardless of whether you have made payment for that Reservation). Where you have already made payment for a Reservation that is subsequently cancelled by us, we will refund all amounts paid by you in relation to that Reservation.

Changes to the charges

We may vary any charges on this website at any time and without notice to you.

Cancellation Policy

Single Bookings If you give us notice of your wish to cancel a Reservation 48 hours or more before the Arrival Date, we will not charge to the Credit Card any amounts that are unpaid for that Reservation as at the date of your notification. If you fail to give us notice of your wish to cancel a Reservation this will be classed as a No Show and your Credit Card will be charged for one nights accommodation. Group Bookings

In the event that you cancel a Group Booking, no refunds will be payable to you.

Loss and Damage of Property

Campus Summer Stays accepts no responsibility or liability for any loss of money, valuables, or other personal property stored in motor vehicles or rooms. Take reasonable care with your property and maintain insurance protection against loss and damage to or theft of personal property.

You will be held personally liable for any damage or loss to your room, apartment or CLV property incurred during your stay. If you are the Group organiser and pay for your Group at check in with one credit card, you will be personally liable for any damage to property or equipment caused by yourself, your associates, group members or guests. In such event Campus Living Villages may recover the costs of such damage by charging the credit card provided at check in.

The promotion as advertised in the Interislander Ferries and KiwiRail publications is available only during the Summer period (December 2016 / January 2017) as stated on each Village page within the Campus Summer Stays website. The promotion applies only to those Villages mentioned in the Interislander Ferries and KiwiRail publications.

The 20% discount is based on the standard published rate and is only available when booking through the Campus Summer Stays website with the word 'ONBOARD' input as the promotion code.

This offer cannot be used in conjunction with any other offer and is based on availability and subject to blackout dates.
